Apr 22, 2016 · Oil pump B7. Lol water pump seized, timing belt ripped and took out two exhaust valves with it no rods or anything snapped, all pistons are intact and work like they should. I can salvage this engine, just take it to head shop and get it worked on, but it’ll obviously be without the oil pump. If your car consumes more than 1qt per 1k miles, then they will replace the rings. If you still have faith in your dealership that is. The S4 uses the sline bumper, there is no S4 specific bumper. An A4 will either have the dtm or standard, an s4 will have sline or dtm, and the RS4 will always have the rs4. Sline and RS4 grilles can be swapped into each others bumpers. DTM and standard grilles can be swapped. When you factor in the fact that new B7's are still on dealer lots for deep discounts, it makes this price differential even greater. B7 > B8.
